Andrew Krioukov is a co-founder of Laude Ventures and General Manager of Lakewatch at Databricks, where he is building the company’s security platform. He joined Databricks through its acquisition of Antimatter, the security company he co-founded and led as CEO. He previously co-founded and served as CEO of workplace software company Comfy, which was acquired by Siemens in 2018. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley, where his research focused on distributed systems, and has been recognized in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and Goldman Sachs’ 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs. He co-teaches the PhD seminar on “Research to Startups” at Berkeley.
